Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Recipe

The 20-minute healthy air fryer buffalo chicken breasts are juicy and crisp; use store-bought or homemade buffalo sauce with three ingredients. Easy, high-protein midweek supper and prep!  

– 3 medium chicken breasts, skinless and bonele – ⅓ cup + 3 tbsp buffalo sauce*, e.g., Primal Kitchen, plus more for serving – ½ tsp salt – ½ tsp black pepper – Avocado or olive oil cooking spray Homemade Buffalo Sauce: – ½ cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce – 1 Tbsp melted butter or ghee – ½ tsp paprika

Set your air fryer to 360°F and use avocado spray or olive oil to lightly coat the basket. After using a paper towel to pat dry, transfer the chicken breasts to a shallow basin.

Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cover with ⅓ cup buffalo sauce. Using kitchen tongs, turn the chicken breasts to coat them. Five to ten minutes for marinating.

When the air fryer is hot, place the chicken breasts in the basket, smooth side down, and spread them out evenly.

Flip with tongs after 10 minutes of air-frying and heat for 3–5 minutes. Sprinkle at least three teaspoons of buffalo sauce on chicken breasts after air-frying.

Take the chicken out of the air fryer and cook it for a further two to three minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Make sure to allow the chicken breasts to rest for five minutes before slicing them and serving them. Have a good time!
