Apple French Toast Bake

Apple French Toast Bake  this is a recipe for a delicious breakfast that is easy to prepare and is perfect for fall days. Pieces of bread are soaked in the mixture of eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla and apple pie filling and then topped with cinnamon, oat and brown sugar, drizzle with maple syrup – a perfect way to start your day.


– 1 loaf of French bread, sliced – 4 large apples, peeled and sliced – 6 egg – 1 cup milk – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

Step 2

Layer the sliced bread and apples in the dish.

Step 3

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla.

Step 4

Pour the egg mixture over the bread and apples.

Step 5

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Step 6

Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden and set. Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
