Cream Cheese Chicken Flautas

Cream Cheese Chicken Flautas – crunchy tortillas, juicy chicken and melted cheese make an incredible combination. These flautas are made of shredded cooked chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, spinach, salsa and different spices, all rolled up in tortillas, then baked or fried and finally served with salsa, guacamole sauce or sour cream.  


– 2 cups cooked shredded chicken – 4 oz cream cheese, softened – 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese – 1/4 cup chopped green onion – 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder – Salt and pepper to taste – 12 small flour tortilla – Vegetable oil for frying

Step 1

In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

Spoon the chicken mixture onto each tortilla and roll tightly into a flute shape.

Step 3

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Fry flautas in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 5

Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 6

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
