Crispiest Air Fryer Chicken Cutlets Recipe

Crispiest breaded air fryer chicken cutlets with golden exterior and juicy chicken in under 15 minutes! This oil-free, high-protein weeknight meal gives a classic a healthier spin while preserving its crunch.  

– 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinle – 2 tsp paprika – 1 tsp garlic powder – ½ tsp onion powder – 1 tsp salt – 1 tsp black pepper – 2 egg – 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, gluten-free if needed – ¼ cup all-purpose flour, gluten-free if needed


Place your air fryer at 380°F and lightly coat it with non-stick or olive oil spray.Meanwhile, finely slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make large chicken tenders.

After placing one tender between two pieces of plastic wrap or inside a sizable zip-lock bag on top of a chopping block, pound or flatten it using a rolling pin or the flat side of a meat mallet.

When the chicken is about 1/4 inch thick, start in the centre and work your way out to the edges. Continue with every tender.

Three bowls should be used: flour and half the seasonings, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs with the other half.

Dredge each chicken piece in flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs to coat well. For full coating, lightly press breadcrumbs onto the chicken.

Continue with the remaining chicken pieces. Make sure the chicken does not overlap as you add it to the preheated air fryer basket.

Depends on air fryer capacity, two batches may be needed.  When crispy and the interior temperature reaches 165°F,

air fry for two to three minutes at 400°F after flipping with tongs after six minutes at 380°F.Add lemon wedges and serve!
