Easy Cinnamon Apple Energy Balls

This chicken mole made in a slow cooker cuts down on the work and makes the ingredients easier to find without changing the delicious, complicated flavours that make mole famous.  


– 1 cup rolled oat – 1/2 cup chopped dried apple – 1/4 cup almond butter – 1/4 cup honey – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – Pinch of salt

Step 1

In a food processor, blend oats until finely ground.

Step 2

Add dried apples, almond butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt.

Step 3

Pulse until mixture forms a sticky dough.

Step 4

Roll dough into bite-sized balls using your hands.

Step 5

Place balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 6

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
