Strawberry Jello Pretzel Salad

Strawberry Jello Pretzel Salad  is a very tasty, old fashioned dessert that is so easy to prepare and that everyone loves.  It consists of three different layers. The first one is made of crushed pretzels, sugar and melted butter and it´s baked for 10 minutes. Then, the second layer made of cream cheese, sugar and cool whip comes. For the third layer you will need strawberries, strawberry jello and water.


1. 2 cups crushed pretzel 2. 3/4 cup melted butter 3. 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 4. 8 oz cream cheese, softened 5. 1 cup granulated sugar 6. 8 oz whipped topping 7. 1 (6 oz) package strawberry Jello 8. 2 cups boiling water 9. 2 (10 oz) packages frozen strawberrie

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.

Step 2

Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.

Step 3

Dissolve Jello in boiling water, then stir in frozen strawberries until slightly thickened. Pour over cream cheese layer.

Step 4

Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours or overnight.

Cut into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy the sweet and salty goodness!
